Kering Eyewear hosts Sustainability Day and presents the "Kering Eyewear Best Partner 2025 Sustainability Award"

Kering Eyewear reaffirms its commitment to a sustainable future by hosting, once again, its annual Sustainability Day—an opportunity to bring together its key manufacturing partners for a moment of shared reflection and dialogue around the three core principles that guide Kering Group’s sustainability mission: “Care for the Planet, Collaborate for People, Create Innovation”.

 

The event took place on Monday, September 8th at the H-Farm campus—a unique hub for collaboration between students and professionals passionate about innovation, located just outside Venice—and brought together Kering Eyewear’s long-standing partners, whose contribution over the years has played a key role in the company’s success.

 

Around 70 guests took part in a workshop dedicated to sustainable design, moderated by sustainability and innovation consultant Anna Zandanel. Participants were invited to work in teams and develop a concept for either a pair of glasses or a case, drawing inspiration from specific circular design strategies—an exercise that challenged both their creativity and collaborative spirit.

 

During the event, Kering Eyewear also granted the “Kering Eyewear Best Partner 2025 Sustainability Award” to three partners who demonstrated the most comprehensive and consistent alignment with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria across three categories: components and raw materials, finished product, and packaging and visual tools.

 

Through initiatives like the Sustainability Day, Kering Eyewear renews its commitment to a more responsible and conscious business model—one where innovation, collaboration, and respect for both people and the planet guide every decision.
